Research day at Lights of Soho

Soho is an area near the heart of City of Westiminster. It used to be famous for pubs, gay bars and just right beside it is the Piccadilly Circus which housed most of the famous theatres in London.
November 5 marked another busy day for me, almost 10 hour of non-stop walking made my sole sore (like hell). The plan to visit Lights of Soho is my first destination before I head to Chinatown, art fair near Bricklane and Westfield at Shephard's Bush.
Why Lights of Soho?
Or...what research I'm doing there at Soho? Well, it's one of the place that I've chose to support my concept for my upcoming final project: Limkokwing Fashion Club (LFC) online and print media design. Think of LFC, think of Soho, the place where it's so vibrant and filled with entertainments (really, i do not kid). I would like to think Soho as a heart of Oxford Circus and Picaddilly Circus (geographically, it's not) and the neon lights in Soho are very, very fascinating. They all add up to become the London version of Times Square.
Here are the three pictures that pretty sums up Soho (I think?)
I promise, they are much crazier at night, but sadly, Light of Soho closes at 6pm and turn into pub. Thus, going there during the day without witnessing the crazy crowd was my online option.
The entrance is decorated with neon art by GRAEME MESSER titled "I love Motherf**ker".
Quite inspiring for my project before I've never seen people etch glasses and install lights behind it. Most of the glass-neon art are installed at head level so it's like a reflection and a dark message to yourself. Perhaps I could use glossy surface for my design.
While on the other side of the room, there is no Adele going on but another permanent exhibition going on (or you can call it decoration to the pub). It is, very, amazing.
Actually I'm not sure if I can take all the photos from a gallery and post it on web...

Verdict
If you have the chance to visit London, come to Soho, experience the crowd at night at least once, or come to this exhibition during the day. It's just a 30 minute long exhibition, why not?
