Brand Identity

With an aim to further expand and strengthen its global reputation, Limkokwing Fashion Club will be launching a new line of outfits for the Spring Summer 2017 Collection. The collection is to be retailed via 5 selected retail partners across different locations in London.

The creative concept of the collection is a reflective of London by celebrating "Quintessential Britishness". A fashion show will be held to announce the collection. Thus, the branding of fashion show plays a crucial role to reach the global fashion consumer who is not only enthusiastic about trends, but also embraces an edgy twist on fashion.

A series of graphics are designed to suit the new face of collection. Inspired by London Soho, the bold approach of brand identity aims to leave a strong impression on every targeted consumer who happens to be young adults. Images posted here fine selection of graphics. Click to enlarge.

Limkokwing Fashion Club (LFC) targets young adults who loves fashion. Often times we see young adults as a bunch of grown-up kids jumping here-and-there, but did we missed another big portion of young adults who seeks for cool, fierce and bold thinking? The future of LFC and Soho could be one. Soho can be viewed as a filthy and mystery yet a fun and vibrant place at the same time. It is the perfect synonym of LFC's target audience - young adults from age 19 to 30.

Limkokwing Fashion Club (LFC) had made its reputation as a new global fashion brand after it's fashion show in several countries such as Paris, London, Japan and Indonesia. LFC even showcased it's collection on Miss Botswana 2015. According to a press release, LFC was introduced for the first time on African soil in grand style, in what the local fashion industry dubbed "The Mother of All Show-Stoppers."

The fluid layout and composition of flyer, poster and banner are designed in such a way that the texts are versatile enough to be kept center no matter what is the size of the design. Let it be 2x3, 4x6 or even 21x9, the title and descriptions will fit perfectly right in the middle.

This poster spots a 16:9 unconventional ratio that surely attract an amount of attention. This poster is meant to be mounted anywhere on walls (from bus stations to light pole).

The 5.5x12 ratio ultra-narrow banner is inspired from the classic poster of the 1930 silent film titled "Metropolis" directed by Fritz Lang. The banner design is made to demonstrate the fluidity of the layout easily kept in the middle.

Fashion Show Merchandise - Pendrive

Fashion Show Merchandise - Pendrive

The Credit Card-USB Pendrive is made to provide "timelessness", thus its design has not much similarity with other print materials. However, the dark purple background and S/S17 Collection Fashion Show title is embedded on the design as a part of merchandise as marketing material. Due to its flat form and portability, another chip can be installed on this pendrive to make it as a membership card and track customer's purchase record to indicate newest trend.

It's content is almost similar to the brochure, except it acts as a portal for people to register for the fashion show event. Furthermore, customers can choose to shop directly from the fashion show website. It is another visionary act for massive brand growth.

This shopping site offers a less contrasty background to reduce eye strain during long hours of online shopping. Good user experience (UX) is the key element in building this site.
